yesterday DAP people wearng DAP uniforms came to our Market in bandar Puchong Jaya and started giving flowers for Mother’s Day to only to Chinese Mothers. though they gave one flower to an Indian hawker and took photograph – maybe as proof that they gave to Indians and Malays there as well. As far as my wife and I could see and the Makcik selling Nasi lemak told me that the DAP people was standing in front of her stall and giving out flowers for Chinese only and they never gave her one. One Indian lady though had to ask and they gave her a flower with a damaged stalk. Ha..ha… Racist Pigs.

Deposits in Cyprus Banks is running at 3 1/2 GDP. Before crisis in Ireland deposits in Irish banks was 10 tines GDP. EU is targetting Russian funds which make up 1/3 of the deposits. More importantly we should be concerned over the principle. Now the new proposal is to protect the deposits that are covered by the Deposit Insurance and the rest is fair game for the state. But still the deposits belongs to the depositors and no one else, including Parliamnet, has the right to expropriate the deposits of individuals.

Some countries in the Indian Sub continent did this by allowing depositors to withdraw uo to 80% of their deposits. Yes the state can take the money. But at least have the decency to issue bond to the individual depositors. I hope that those who are enthusted by the consititution to look after state funds are paying attention.They may in the heat of the arguiment agree with the government in power for such measures to be adopted.But when it comes down to it no banking system in the world can survive if we all decide to keep our money under our pillows.
